Controlling Diabetes
DIABETES CONTROL ============================ WHAT IS DIABETES? WHY DO WE NEED TO SLASH DOWN OUR SUGAR INTAKE? Diabetics are hook to a medical condition known as diabetes which forces a person to have to give up sugars. According to the studies, there are already millions of individual that are diabetics and might exceed to 350 million by year 2030 which sounds alarming, doesn't it. As we all know, millions of people all over the world have tried to let go of their mouth-watering and tasty sugar products. Sugar is a natural substance and a basic food carbohydrate that provides us energy or fuel for everyday activity. People don't have any choice but to quit their in-taking of sweets because their health is at risk. TYPES OF DIABETES As a result, diabetes will require maintenance and permanent medication. If you gestational diabetes, you may also need to take medicine to control your blood sugar level. At this point, insulin therapy is necessary to maintain normal or near normal glucose levels. So be extra careful with your favorite food, though sugar is taste good, but too much of it will make us sick. Either of the 3 types of diabetes, if not properly treated and medicated and if not being implemented regularly may lead to heart attack, eye problems, nerve damage, gum disease, kidney problems and more. The term "type 1 diabetes" has universally replaced several former terms, including childhood-onset diabetes, juvenile diabetes, and insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. DIABETES TREATMENT Take maintenance medicine if necessary even when you feel good and get a routine check up to avoid problems. Educate yourself on how to care for your diabetes which will help you feel better today and in future. Quit your smoking and your excessive intake of alcohol. In no time you will be able to continuously enjoy life without the worries of your diabetes. ALTERNATIVE DIABETES CURES THROUGH THE HERBAL WAY When saying herbal, means to treat with components that are made from plant extracts. You have to be well aware of the foods you eat and enjoy outdoor physical activities which will strengthen your immune system and will result in you managing your diabetes condition better. Diabetes is a disease or illness that affects the metabolism of our body. When we digest our food, it is converted into a form of sugar for our body or what we may call as glucose. Since bitter melons are considered to have twice the potassium compared to bananas at the same time increase the amount of beta cells, these melons may help the pancreas to produce insulin. Failing to include physical activities into our schedule, is why most people have severe health problems or will soon have health related problems in the future. As we all know, it is still true that prevention is better than cure. ===========================================================

How to Manage Diabetes???
Diabetes is a disease that is being seen in a large number of populations today. My father-in-law is a diabetic, I knew that. A few days back I got to know that my aunt got a check up done and her blood glucose levels were too high and she is a diabetic now. She feels tired and nauseous all day which is a pain to watch. My father-in-law also feels tired when his sugar levels go high. Today, my mother-in-law and I went to the market and we met one of her friends there. She asked aunty why she has been out of touch and she told us that she was not well and after check-ups it was found that she was suffering from diabetes.
Today when I went to the doctor for my mother-in-law’s eye check-up, we found out that her number of spectacle has been increasing very fast. We asked the doctor why it was happening. He explained that this happens only when you have high blood pressure and also if you are a diabetic. We came home. We have a device at home that checks your sugar and we checked hers. Thankfully she is ok and not suffering from diabetes. Now tomorrow we will go for her blood pressure check-up. In the past few days I had been hearing a lot of diabetes cases and that made me write something about it.
I am not a doctor and do not know too much of medical science but with my experience at home, I want to share a few things:
1. Buy a machine that will help you check blood glucose every day. That ways you would know when you need to keep a check on your diet.
2. Avoid potatoes and rice.
3. No sugar. Sugar-free items aren’t good, if you think you can replace normal sugar by that. Just remember, you will not take sugar in any form.
4. Keep a check on physical exertion. But do take a walk in the morning or evening to keep fit.
5. Follow the diet chart that your doctor has advised and stick to it.
6. Take your medicines as and when told by your doctor. Do not be careless.
7. Smoking is not good for people suffering from diabetes.
8. When blood glucose rises, swelling can be seen on your body. So, take care if you see any kind of swelling or any other symptoms.
Take care of these small things and have a healthy life!
