How to Manage Diabetes???
Diabetes is a disease that is being seen in a large number of populations today. My father-in-law is a diabetic, I knew that. A few days back I got to know that my aunt got a check up done and her blood glucose levels were too high and she is a diabetic now. She feels tired and nauseous all day which is a pain to watch. My father-in-law also feels tired when his sugar levels go high. Today, my mother-in-law and I went to the market and we met one of her friends there. She asked aunty why she has been out of touch and she told us that she was not well and after check-ups it was found that she was suffering from diabetes.
Today when I went to the doctor for my mother-in-law’s eye check-up, we found out that her number of spectacle has been increasing very fast. We asked the doctor why it was happening. He explained that this happens only when you have high blood pressure and also if you are a diabetic. We came home. We have a device at home that checks your sugar and we checked hers. Thankfully she is ok and not suffering from diabetes. Now tomorrow we will go for her blood pressure check-up. In the past few days I had been hearing a lot of diabetes cases and that made me write something about it.
I am not a doctor and do not know too much of medical science but with my experience at home, I want to share a few things:
1. Buy a machine that will help you check blood glucose every day. That ways you would know when you need to keep a check on your diet.
2. Avoid potatoes and rice.
3. No sugar. Sugar-free items aren’t good, if you think you can replace normal sugar by that. Just remember, you will not take sugar in any form.
4. Keep a check on physical exertion. But do take a walk in the morning or evening to keep fit.
5. Follow the diet chart that your doctor has advised and stick to it.
6. Take your medicines as and when told by your doctor. Do not be careless.
7. Smoking is not good for people suffering from diabetes.
8. When blood glucose rises, swelling can be seen on your body. So, take care if you see any kind of swelling or any other symptoms.
Take care of these small things and have a healthy life!

Working with a weight that is too big of a load, will allow improper form and injury to become a major factor. Trust me, the last thing you want is to be sidelined, because you were using a weight that you weren’t conditioned for. It is important as you lift the weight or perform bodyweight exercises, to always have the proper form and the movement should be controlled and steady. After the first session of a workout program, your body the next day will be sore and likely hurt badly. No need to worry, because this is how your body should feel after an intense muscle building workout program. Regardless of which path you choose, adding resistance will make you lifestyle a lot more healthier than it was prior to not doing it.

This is not a desired feeling for most humans, but stick with cardio and you soon will look forward to every cardio session.

Cutting out the unhealthy sweets and other fatty snacks at first is, going to seem like an impossible mission. Overtime it will become a lot easier to say no to these unhealthy foods. Add more fruit and veggies to your diet and eat as lean as meats as possible. Wonderful lean meats are fish, skinless chicken breast, venison or other wild game meats you have access to, turkey breast, and egg whites. Avoid eating at fast food places as much as you possibly can. Making your own healthier lunch will be much more satisfying in the long run. Eating wheat flour instead of white flour is, another great tip you may want to use.

This gives us a relaxing feeling when reminiscing some beach moments with friends and family.

Here's how to do a patch test to check for allergies.
To do a patch test, pour a small amount of the product in question onto a plate or small bowl.
Use q-tip to apply a small amount of the product on an inconspicuous area of the forearm. Along the inside of the wrist is a good spot to use for a patch test.
Leave the area untouched for forty-eight hours. Avoid exposing it to water when you take a bath and keep it out of direct sunlight.
At the end of forty-eight hours, check the area for signs that could indicate an allergic reaction to the product. If you're allergic to the product, you'll see redness, flaking, or a skin rash in the area where the product was applied. In addition, you may experience itching, irritation, or soreness. The omega-3 fatty acids found in fatty fish and fish oil supplements have an impressive list of possible health benefits. Not only do they lower the risk of heart disease, but they may prevent certain types of cancer – possibly due to their anti-inflammatory properties. One type of omega-3 called DHA may even be of benefit for women undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer.
Omega-3’s and Chemotherapy of Breast Cancer
According to a study published in the British Journal of Cancer, women who took a daily dose of DHA, an omega-3 found in fish oil, increased their breast cancer survival rate while undergoing breast cancer chemotherapy treatment. A group of twenty-five women with metastatic breast cancer were given 1.8 grams of the omega-3 DHA for two months to eight years in addition to their regular breast cancer chemotherapy treatment. The women continued to receive their regular chemotherapy for breast cancer while taking the DHA supplement.
DHA and Breast Cancer Chemotherapy Treatment
Did DHA affect their survival? The women who took the DHA omega-3 supplement survived an average of 22 months – and some survived significantly longer – despite having a poor prognosis. The women were only expected to survive for a little over a year – despite receiving breast cancer chemotherapy treatment. The breast cancer in most of these women had already metastized to the liver which carries with it a bad prognosis.
This study looking at DHA for women undergoing chemotherapy of breast cancer is small and more research is needed. If these results are supported by future studies, taking omega-3 supplements could be a safe and natural way to prolong survival of breast cancer patients who have cancer that has already spread to other parts of the body. In this study, none of the women experienced adverse side effects from the DHA.
